  • one large carrot;
  • one clove of garlic;
  • one bell pepper (preferably red);

  • one teaspoon of allspice;
  • 4 bay leaves.

We will prepare the marinade in 0.7 liters of water from:

  • 100 ml table 9% vinegar;
  • 100 grams of granulated sugar;
  • 45 grams of table salt;

Marinating stages

  1. First, prepare all the ingredients. Remove the top greenish leaves from the heads of cabbage and rinse under running water. While the moisture is draining, wash and peel the carrots, bell peppers and garlic.
  2. This recipe calls for cutting the cabbage into large pieces. in pieces.
  3. We grate the carrots on a regular or Korean grater, the main thing is that it turns into long strips.

  • white cabbage – 2 kg;
  • granulated sugar – 200 grams;
  • table vinegar 9% - 180 ml;
  • olive oil – 100 ml;
  • water – 1000 ml;
  • non-iodized salt – 60-90 grams;
  • turmeric – 1 teaspoon;
  • ground cloves and dry mustard powder - a third of a teaspoon each.
Attention! If the top leaves on the head of cabbage are greenish, they must be removed.

Pour turmeric into the cabbage, cut into checkered pieces, according to the recipe recommendations, add vegetable oil, and mix gently.

Add mustard, cloves, granulated sugar and salt to boiling water. After 2 minutes, add vinegar. Pour the boiling marinade into the vegetables.
