- cabbage – 1 kg;
- cranberries – 100 g;
- apples – 200 g;
- salt – 2 teaspoons.
Marinade:
- water – 700 ml;
- lemon – 1 pc.;
- salt – 1 tbsp. spoon.
These products are enough to fill 2 liter jars.
Preparation
Chop the cabbage, add a little salt and rub with your hands so that it releases its juice.
Wash the apples, divide into quarters, remove the core, cut into thin slices.
In a spacious bowl, combine vegetables and fruits, mix gently and leave for 3 hours.
Squeeze the juice from the lemon and strain. Mix it with salted water and boil.
To fill the jars correctly, do this:
- Fill 1/3 of the containers with hot marinade.
- Spoon fruit and vegetable mixture into each half.
- Using clean fingers, gently press the lettuce together.
