- 10 tbsp. water;
- 0.4 kg cranberries (fresh or frozen);
- 1 tbsp. granulated sugar;
- 1 tsp. dry yeast.

- Sort the cranberries, remove spoiled ones and rinse under water. If they are frozen, defrost and dry thoroughly.

- Then you need to pour a glass of warm kvass. You will need it to dilute the yeast.

Good fresh yeast should form foam after 15–20 minutes. If it is not there, then the product is spoiled. - Mix everything, cover the dishes with cling film or gauze, and leave for 10–12 hours to ferment. After the allotted time, foam should appear on the surface - this is a good sign indicating the correctness of the fermentation process.
- Pour into bottles or simply close the lid tightly and place in the refrigerator for three days until it becomes saturated. During this time, the smell of yeast will disappear, and the kvass will become carbonated.
The finished berry drink can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, and every day it will become more delicious.
Recipe for yeast cranberry kvass
Cranberry kvass with various additives is recommended for people with hypertension, hematopoietic diseases and anemia. To prepare a fortified drink according to this recipe you will need:
- 0.5 kg cranberries;
- 2 tbsp. Sahara;
- 5 liters of water;
- 1 tsp. dry yeast;
- 1 tsp. raisins;
- 20 rye bread crackers;
- 1 tsp. oregano herbs.
This recipe is prepared like this:
- Mash the cranberries thoroughly, add warm water and stir.
- Add water to the yeast in a separate container and give it time to rise.
- Combine all the ingredients of cranberry kvass together, mix and leave in a warm place for a day so that it begins to ferment.
- Pour into bottles and leave for another 8 hours.
- Store prepared cranberry kvass in the refrigerator.
