The use of a snow blower is justified on sidewalks, private areas adjacent to the house and in other places with a small area. The SUN snow blower is driven from the Ugra NMB-1 walk-behind tractor through a belt drive. The torque is transmitted to the auger by a gear reducer.
Let's look at the main characteristics of the SUN nozzle:
- The direction of snow ejection is controlled by a rotating visor. It is conveniently located near the steering wheel. The operator has the opportunity to make direction adjustments without stopping the walk-behind tractor.
- The screw is made of a solid steel strip. This design is characterized by increased strength and is also more efficient in operation.
- Skis on the lower part of the body ensure easy movement of the attachment over the snow. The adjustment mechanism allows you to set the height of snow removal.
- A special feature of the SUN snow blower is the ability to change the rotation speed of the auger. To do this, there is a function that allows you to change the standard chain drive gear ratio of 1.55 to an accelerated ratio of 0.64. Changing the screw speed is beneficial during execution clearing thin layers of snow.
- The dimensions of the nozzle allow a working width of 60 cm. The maximum height of the snow layer is 30 cm.
- Snow is thrown out of the sleeve to a maximum distance of 8 m. This indicator is influenced by the speed of rotation of the auger and the movement of the walk-behind tractor.
The SUN is designed so that during operation the noise level from vibration of parts is minimal. The snow blower weighs 47 kg.
Mobile-K SM-0.6
The domestic model of the SM-0.6 snow blower is produced in the Smolensk region by the manufacturer Mobile-K. The attachment is designed for use with the Ugra walk-behind tractor and other similar analogues. The snow blower is recommended for private owners who have a country house or dacha. A special feature of the design is a toothed auger. The knives quickly cope with even slightly icy crust on the snow cover. By rotating movements, the auger drives the snow mass to the central part, where the throwing blades are installed under the output nozzle. Snow is thrown out through the sleeve at a distance of up to 10 m. The operator can easily change the direction with the visor during operation.
The maximum cutting height of the snow layer is 68 cm. But it can be adjusted, if necessary, by runners installed at the bottom of the body on both sides. The working width is limited to 45 cm. When working with the attachment, the walk-behind tractor must move at a speed of 2 to 4 km/h. A special feature of the model is the presence of a two-stage snow removal system, which allows you to change the speed of the auger. The nozzle SM-0.6 weighs about 42 kg.
