Operating principle

The drug "Cytovit" dissolves well in water, is safe for plants, does not cause burns on stems and leaf blades, and can be applied both to the root zone and to green leaves. Increases the supply of vital energy, increases endurance and resistance to adverse weather conditions.

Effect of "Cytovit" on cultivated plants:

  1. Provides a supply of microelements in the soil and supplies nutrition through the leaves.
  2. Allows complete absorption of nutrients.
  3. Activates metabolism.
  4. Helps increase green mass.
  5. Prolongs the life of ovaries.
  6. Protects the plant from diseases associated with a lack of mineral fertilizers.
  7. Increases immunity.
  8. Significantly increases productivity.

The combined use of Cytovit and Zircon significantly increases the effectiveness of preparations for root crops.

Areas of use

The use of chelate preparations is carried out by spraying on the leaves in calm and cool weather. The most optimal time: morning or evening, two hours before dew forms. A unique property of the drug “Tsitovit”: rapid penetration into the cellular structures of plants, after which the remaining fertilizer disintegrates in the air.

In the root zone, the Tsitovit fertilizer is applied by irrigation only to soil that is depleted or has a poor structure.

Warning! Plants can be treated with the drug throughout the entire growing season, with the exception of flowering, as its smell can repel pollinating insects.

Consumption rates

Consumption rates of the drug vary from 1.5 ml per 1 liter or 5 liters of water, depending on the type of crops being treated. Detailed instructions for preparing a working solution of the Tsitovit fertilizer are located on the back of the package.

Rules of application

The Tsitovit mineral complex does not belong to the class of hazardous and toxic substances, therefore, when working with it, no special protective measures are required; long sleeves, gloves, a gauze bandage-respirator, a headscarf or cap, closed shoes and safety glasses are sufficient. Spraying is carried out in calm weather; in case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse the affected area with running water.

Preparation of the solution

The working solution of the complex mineral preparation “Tsitovit” is prepared as follows:

  1. Pour water into the spray tank, the amount is determined using a measuring cup in accordance with the instructions on the package.
  2. Measure the stock solution with a medical syringe.
  3. Mix the mixture thoroughly.

Small packaging of "Tsitovit" is convenient for owners of small plots

The ampoule of the master concentrate "Tsitovit" is diluted entirely, the finished composition is used immediately, and cannot be stored.

On a plastic bottle with a large amount of stock solution, you cannot unscrew the cap if you do not plan to use up the entire drug in the near future. You need to draw the Cytovit fertilizer into the syringe through a puncture and seal the hole with a piece of tape to prevent air circulation and spoilage of the drug.

For seeds

To stimulate and increase the germination of planting material, it is recommended to soak crop seeds in Cytovit. The concentration of the solution is 1.5 ml of mother substance per 1.5 liters of clean water. If you need a little solution, you can use an insulin syringe, separate 0.2 ml of the concentrated substance and dissolve it in a glass of water.

The duration of seed soaking is 10-12 hours.

Seed potatoes and planting material of bulbous and rhizome plants are treated with a “Tsitovit” solution of the same concentration. Tubers are soaked in the prepared fertilizer for 30 minutes, bulbous and rhizome tubers - for no more than 10 minutes.

For seedlings

To spray seedlings, use a solution of lower concentration; one ampoule with a volume of 1.5 ml is diluted with two liters of water. Fertilizer is applied to the soil ball in the phase of appearance of two or three true leaves (a tablespoon per plant). Watering is carried out in moist soil. Subsequent feedings are carried out every two weeks.

Seedlings can be watered with fertilizer before harvesting.

For vegetable crops

Vegetables are treated with Cytovit solution in a ratio of 1.5 ml per 3 liters of water. This concentration is suitable for processing tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and root vegetables. Initial spraying in the phase of four true leaves, subsequent spraying every two weeks; no fertilizing is done during the flowering phase. Stop fertilizing ten days before the planned harvest.

To process cabbage, lettuce and green crops, the Tsitovit ampoule is diluted with 5 liters of water, while the agricultural technology is the same as for other vegetable crops.

For fruit and berry crops

Berry bushes and fruit trees require the highest concentration of Cytovit solution: 1.5 ml per 1 liter of water. During the summer season, three treatments are carried out:

  1. Before flowering, when the buds have not yet opened.
  2. Immediately after the formation of the ovary.
  3. A couple of weeks after harvest.

Consumption rates are a liter for every 60-70 centimeters of height.

For garden flowers and ornamental shrubs

Treatment with “Tsitovit” for flowers is carried out with the solution twice before the budding of annuals, perennials are treated once, herbaceous plants - in the phase of 4-5 leaves, shrubs - during the budding period. The concentration is the same as for seedlings.

For conifers

“Tsitovit” for coniferous plants, according to gardeners, can be used up to three times during the season; the drug helps preserve the decorative appearance of the needles during the dry period and restore them in case of damage from sunburn in the spring. The concentration of the solution is the same as for berry bushes.

For indoor plants and flowers

Indoor flowers can be fed with “Tsitovit” several times during the spring-summer period, by spraying on the leaves. The drug cannot be used on blossoming buds, otherwise flowering will be short-lived. For saprophytes, which include well-known orchids, “Tsitovit” is not used.

When spraying indoor plants with Cytovit, you must wear protective gloves and special clothing.

Can it be used in aquariums?

Fans of aquarium flora and fauna use “Tsitovit” to feed aquatic plants. In a separate container, without fish and animals, add the drug at the rate of 1 drop per 1 liter of water.

Compatibility with other fertilizers

"Tsitovit" is perfectly compatible with drugs such as "Ferrovit", "Epin" and "Zircon" to enhance the effect. The best proportion is 1:1; you cannot mix all the drugs together, only in pairs: “Cytovit” and “Zircon” or “Epin”.

Important! Fertilizer cannot be mixed with Siliplant and Bordeaux mixture.

Advantages and disadvantages

Positive aspects of using "Tsitovit":

  1. Versatility, the drug can be used for most types of plants.
  2. Possibility of complex use of "Cytovit" in combination with other drugs.
  3. Active substances quickly disintegrate in air.

According to gardeners, there are only three disadvantages of “Tsitovit”: too brief instructions for use for plants, the inability to store the prepared solution for a long time and high price.

Security measures

The drug is not highly toxic, but a concentrated mother solution can cause dangerous effects, so it is important to remember:

  1. Cytovit should be stored out of the reach of children and pets.
  2. When working with a concentrated solution, you must wear protective equipment.
  3. Avoid direct contact of the prepared solution with exposed skin and mucous membranes; in case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with running water.

If you feel a sharp deterioration in health after working with the drug "Tsitovit", you need to take activated charcoal and drink it with plenty of water.

It is necessary to spray fertilizer while wearing a respirator.

Analogues of Cytovit

There are no complete analogues of Cytovit in the world; in some respects it is duplicated by other growth stimulants. The predecessors of the drug are “Erin” and “Citron”.

Conclusion

Instructions for use Cytovit contains recommendations for preparing a working solution for various groups of plants. The use of complex fertilizer will significantly increase the yield of garden and garden crops, plant resistance to various diseases and reduce crop losses in unfavorable years.

Reviews of fertilizer Tsitovit

Marina Samsonova, 57 years old, Kolomna
Last year I bought a small package of Tsitovit for testing, put it on the shelf and forgot to soak the seeds before planting. I only came across it when it was time to plant potatoes. I soaked the seed nodules with “Tsitovit” for half an hour before planting, dried them a little, and put them in the ground. The harvest was more than usual, ten percent, and there were no small ones. I regret that I didn’t treat the leaves with Cytovit; this year I’ll be smarter. I bought ten ampoules.

Nikolay Morozov, 65 years old, Kemerovo

My wife and I are pensioners and love to dig around our summer cottage. Last year, in the winter, we glued carrot seeds with paste onto toilet paper in strips. They were afraid that they might not rise properly. The store recommended "Tsitovit".In the spring, I made furrows, watered them with water from a watering can and laid a ribbon of paper with seeds. My wife generously sprayed Tsitovit on top from a spray bottle and smoothed it out. The shoots were smooth and friendly.
