Fungicide Infinito

Garden crops need protection from fungal diseases, the pathogens of which take on new forms over time. The highly effective fungicide Infinito is distributed on the domestic market. The drug is produced by the famous German company Bayer Garden and has gained recognition among farmers.

Compound

Fungicide Infinito contains active components to protect many vegetables in the following ratio:

  • Propamocarb hydrochloride – 625 grams per liter;
  • Fluopicolide – 62.5 grams per liter.

Propamocarb hydrochloride

The well-known systemic fungicide very quickly penetrates all surfaces of the plant along ascending and descending vectors. Even those parts of leaves and stems on which drops did not fall during spraying with Infinito fall under the influence of a highly moisturizing substance. The product retains its activity against fungi for a long period. This characteristic feature ensures that the shoots and leaves formed after treatment are protected.Propamocarb hydrochloride also acts as a growth stimulator when using the fungicide Infinito: it is able to enhance plant development.

Fluopicolide

A substance of a new chemical class, fluopicolide, when spraying plants with Infinito fungicide, instantly has an effect on fungi and suppresses their further life activity. The active substance penetrates into plant tissues through intercellular spaces, thus protecting the treated crops from further infection by spores of pathogenic fungi. On the surface of the leaves and stems of an infected plant, all pathogens of the disease die at any stage of their development.

The mechanism of action of the fungicide fluopicolide is the destruction of the walls and framework of the cells of fungal bodies. This unique feature is unique to fluopicolide. If the plant is recently infected, after spraying with Infinito fungicide it is quite capable of recovering. The smallest particles of the fungicide fluopicolide, after the droplets dry, remain on the surface of the tissue for a long time, forming a protective film against the penetration of new spores. They do not wash off even under strong streams of rain.

Important! The combination of two powerful ingredients with a new mechanism of action in the Infinito preparation prevents the possibility of development of resistance of fungi of the Oomycete class to the developed fungicide.

Characteristics of the drug

The drug Infinito is distributed in the form of a concentrated suspension. An effective dual-directional fungicide that protects vegetables from late blight and peronosporosis, not only has a preventive effect, but is also used for infected plants. Infinito acts quite quickly on fungal spores: it penetrates plant tissue in 2-4 hours.It is possible to completely stop the development of the disease soon after applying the fungicide, thanks to a combination of new active chemicals.

  • Potatoes and tomatoes are treated with the drug to protect against late blight;
  • Cucumbers and cabbage are sprayed to combat peronospora, or downy mildew;
  • The substance propamocarb hydrochloride in the Infinito fungicide also promotes the rapid development of plants.

How to distinguish fungal diseases of vegetable crops

The fungal diseases late blight and peronosporosis, or downy mildew, differ from each other and affect different crops.

Late blight

This fungal infection appears on potatoes and tomatoes. The development of the disease is facilitated by sharp changes in night and day temperatures, a long period of rainy and cloudy weather, resulting in increased air humidity.

Signs of damage to tomatoes

From the beginning of infection, small brown spots of a blurry shape appear on the leaves of tomatoes. Then similar spots form on green or red tomato fruits. The harvest deteriorates, the tomato bush is affected, dries out and dies. The development of the disease is quite rapid: in a week a large tomato plantation may die.

Warning! Disease symptoms may change as fungi develop resistance to long-used fungicides. In addition, new forms of pathogens are emerging.

Late blight of potatoes

In potato beds, late blight usually manifests itself during flowering: brown spots of irregular shape cover the lower leaves of the potato bush. There is information from vegetable growers that recently infection has begun from the apical part of potato stems and leaves.The spores quickly spread throughout the plant, through the soil, in the rain, and infect tubers. The disease develops in the range of 3-16 days, the speed of damage depends on the air temperature.

Downy mildew

The disease is more often observed in the field starting in July. In greenhouses, spores have been active since spring or even winter.

Symptoms of cucumber disease

According to scientists, the defeat of cucumbers by downy mildew spores is more intense with increased solar radiation. It affects photosynthesis in cucumber leaves, which determines the rapid development of infectious agents. Under favorable conditions, the entire plant, as well as the area, is affected in three days: the leaves are spotted, then quickly dry out.

Downy mildew of cabbage

In greenhouses with cabbage seedlings, the infection begins as spots on the upper side of the leaf. At high humidity, spores penetrate into the petiole. Symptoms of infection in cabbage fields: yellow spots on the underside of the leaf.

Possibilities of the new drug

Since spores of pathogenic fungi infect plants, spreading through intercellular spaces, the use of a new class of chemical - the Infinito fungicide - can block the vital activity of pathogens. The active ingredients of the fungicide penetrate the plant tissue in the same way and destroy fungi.

According to European scientists, a new form of late blight has appeared with A2 type of compatibility. Moreover, the emergence of the next, newest form is observed, due to the crossing of ancient pathogens, with A1 type of compatibility, with new ones. Pathogens are very aggressive, multiply quickly, and infect plants early. Tubers are also affected to a greater extent. Infinito fungicide is able to resist the development of infection caused by any pathogen.The main thing is if the disease is noticed when the plant can still be saved.

Attention! Infinito fungicide is safe for people and plants.

Advantages of the product

The fungicide does an excellent job of preventing the spread of disease on plants.

  • Guarantee of crop protection - a combination of two potent substances;
  • Positive effect of the fungicide on the further development of plants;
  • The fungicide acts at the cellular level, its effect does not depend on precipitation;
  • Duration of exposure;
  • Pathogens do not develop an addiction to the Infinito fungicide.

Application

The fungicide should be used in accordance with the instructions.

Comment! Infinito fungicide for working solution is diluted in the following proportion: 20 ml per 6 liters of water.

Potato

The culture is treated 2-3 times, starting from flowering time.

  • Fungicide consumption rate: from 1.2 l to 1.6 l per hectare, or 15 ml per hundred square meters;
  • The interval between spraying is up to 10-15 days;
  • The waiting period before harvesting is 10 days.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes are processed 2 times.

  • The first spraying is carried out 10-15 days after planting in the ground;
  • Dilute 15 ml of fungicide in 5 liters of water.

cucumbers

Plants are treated 2 times during the growing season.

  • Dissolve 15 ml of the drug in 5 liters of water;
  • The interval before product collection is 10 days.

Cabbage

During the growing season, cabbage is sprayed with Infinito fungicide 2 times, including treatment in the greenhouse.

  • Take 15 ml of fungicide per 5 liters of water. The solution is enough for one hundred square meters;
  • The last treatment is 40 days before harvesting the heads of cabbage.

The drug is effective and will help to grow a rich and high-quality harvest.

Tatyana Ilyinichna, 63 years old, Voronezh region
My son brought a new product, Infinito, for tomatoes. Treatment began when diseased plants were already visible.The affected leaves were removed, and the tomatoes survived and fruited well.
Ivan Sergeevich, 64 years old, Leningrad region.
I treated potatoes with Infinito fungicide. Late blight simply “lives” on the site. That year our potatoes were clean and healthy.
Alena, 31 years old, Krasnodar region
Only with the use of the Infinito fungicide, the cucumbers remained on the site for almost the entire month of August. Previously, it happened that you would collect greens 2-3 times in June, and the vines would die.
