In winter, the owners of private houses and suburban areas rest: all work in the garden and vegetable garden stops. The only thing that any resident of Russia has to do periodically is clean their yard of snow. Most often, residents of the private sector use the following devices to deal with snow:

Flat wooden or metal shovels with a long handle, which are convenient for scraping off even frozen crust and removing ice.
Bucket-shaped plastic hand shovels that are lightweight and have large capacity.Such devices are convenient for scooping up loose snow, removing large slabs and snow drifts.
In more complex cases, auger snow removal devices are used that are capable of independently capturing snow and removing it to the side using an auger screw reminiscent of the inside of a meat grinder. However, such devices are only suitable for a thin layer of snow; augers will not be able to cope with ice.
Snow shovels on wheels are a practical solution for owners of large yards and country estates. Thanks to this technique, a person’s back is relieved; all that is required of him is to direct the self-propelled shovel in the right direction.

Equipment with wheels allows you to clear very large areas of snow, and this is done without any special burden for a person. Models of wheeled shovels for snow removal can be equipped with a motor, but such devices will cost more.

The simplest wheel mechanisms are of the manual type. Such equipment must be pushed by a person; the shovel moves according to the principle of a cart.

There are several most common designs of shovels on wheels:

the blade can be adjusted, locking in several positions (extreme right or left position or horizontal);

Attention! It is quite possible to make a snow blower on wheels with your own hands. To do this, you will need a metal pipe or angle for the handle and frame, a pair of wheels from an old cart or children's bicycle, sheet steel or a large diameter pipe (about 40-50 cm) to make a bucket.

It is especially useful where winters are harsh, with frequent blizzards and snowfalls, and is also suitable for owners of large suburban areas. Working with a mechanized shovel is much easier and faster than using a regular hand shovel.
