  1. Before cooking, sterilize the container with boiling water and wipe dry. This preparation will help avoid contamination of the wort with foreign microorganisms. 10-liter glass bottles are best suited for preparation.
  2. For homemade wine, choose ripe and juicy fruits. Due to overripe and sluggish berries, the drink turns out cloudy.
  3. Blueberries must be sorted, removing crumpled, rotten and moldy specimens. One such berry included in the composition can spoil homemade wine.
  4. The fruits are pureed and filled with water.

Depending on the recipe, honey or white sugar is added. Then the workpiece is left to ferment, putting a water seal or a medical glove on the neck of the bottle. The ripening drink should not come into contact with fresh air.

Homemade blueberry wine according to a classic recipe

In the traditional version of preparation, in addition to sugar, a little honey is added to the composition, which makes the taste rich. Ingredients:

  • blueberries – 4 kg;
  • filtered water or spring water – 2 l;
  • granulated sugar – 1.5 kg;
  • water for dissolving honey – 1.3 l;
  • honey – 300 g.

Preparation:

  1. Mash the berries with a masher. Transfer to a 10 liter bottle.
  2. Pour 2 liters of water, stir and cover with a cloth. Place in a dark place for 5 days. Temperature +20°…+25°.
  3. Pass the infusion through a filter. Squeeze out the pulp and discard.
  4. Heat the remaining water and dissolve the sugar and honey. Combine with infusion.
  5. Install a water seal on the neck of the bottle. Leave in a cool room until fermentation is complete.
  6. Using a siphon, pour the wine into a separate container. No sediment should get into the workpiece. Put on a water seal and leave for 2 months.
  7. When the alcohol becomes completely transparent, pour into bottles.
Attention! Due to unripe blueberries, the wine will acquire an unpleasant bitterness.

The easiest blueberry wine recipe

The subtle taste of blueberries is ideal for making a homemade alcoholic drink. Required:

  • blueberries – 6 kg;
  • water – 9 l;
  • sugar – 3 kg.

Preparation:

  1. Pour the berries into a container and crush with a masher. Fold the gauze in several layers and squeeze the juice out of the puree. Place in the refrigerator compartment.
  2. Pour the remaining berries with water, mix and leave in a dark place for a day. Squeeze again. Combine the resulting liquid with juice.
  3. Pour in sugar, mix and pour into the prepared bottle.
  4. Put a rubber glove on your throat and make a puncture in one finger.
  5. Leave in a dark place. Temperature +20°…+25°. After a day, fermentation will begin and the glove will rise up. When the process ends, it will return to its original position.
  6. Drain off any precipitate that has formed. Pour the pure drink into bottles and leave in a cool place for 2 months.

Homemade blueberry wine: recipe without yeast

If the berries were picked after rain, then there will be little wild yeast left on their surface and the fermentation process will be incomplete.Raisins added to the drink will help correct this problem.

Required:

  • water – 2.5 l;
  • blueberries – 2.5 kg;
  • raisins – 50 g;
  • citric acid – 10 g;
  • sugar – 1.1 kg.
Attention! Raisins and berries cannot be washed.

Preparation:

  1. Crush the sorted blueberries with a rolling pin or your hands. Transfer to a bottle.
  2. Fill with cold water, ideally spring or filtered. Add raisins, add citric acid and 250 g of sugar. Mix.
  3. To prevent insects and debris from getting into the mixture, cover with gauze. Put it in the pantry for 3 days. Stir daily.
  4. When a sour smell appears and foam forms on the surface, strain the liquid through cheesecloth and squeeze out the pulp well.
  5. Pour 250 g of sugar into the juice and dissolve. Attach a water seal to the neck. Leave in the pantry for 4 days.
  6. Pour 200 ml of wort into a separate container and dissolve 250 g of sugar in it. Pour back into the preparation. Install a water seal.
  7. After 3 days, repeat the process, adding the remaining granulated sugar.
  8. When no gas forms at the water seal, remove the wine from the sediment using a straw so as not to touch the formed sediment at the bottom of the container.
  9. Leave to ripen for six months. Remove the sediment every month and pour it into a new container.

How to make blueberry wine with honey

Linden honey is best suited for cooking. It gives the wine a subtle aroma. But you are allowed to use any other.

Ingredients:

  • blueberries – 5 kg;
  • granulated sugar – 1.9 kg;
  • water – 4.4 l;
  • honey – 380 g.

Preparation:

  1. Sort out the fruits and crush. It should be puree. Pour in 3 liters of water, stir and cover with gauze. Leave in the basement for 5 days.
  2. Strain the preparation and remove the sediment.
  3. Dissolve honey in the remaining volume of water, then sugar. Pour the syrup into the infusion.
  4. Put a glove on the neck. Make a small puncture in one finger to allow gases to escape. Leave in the basement until fermentation is complete.
  5. When bubbles stop forming on the surface of the homemade wine, strain through 3 layers of gauze.
  6. Pour into bottles. Leave the wine to mature for 2 months in a cool room or refrigerator.
Important! Before pouring into bottles, make sure that the fermentation process is completely completed, otherwise the containers with the homemade drink will explode.

Rules for storage and use

If the preparation technology is followed, homemade wine can be stored in a dry room for 4 years without loss of taste. Recommended temperature +2°…+6°. The bottles are placed horizontally.

When consuming, it is important to observe moderation. Due to the high content of antioxidants in berries, the drink can impair muscle function.

  • pregnant and lactating women. Substances contained in berries can cause allergies and intoxication in a child;
