If you don’t have both, you can freeze the fruit in the freezer and grate it in this form. This will be a little more complicated than the previous grinding methods, but it will also work. The seeds from the resulting mass should be removed so that in the end they do not give bitterness to the drink.

Ingredients:

  • orange (large) – 1 pc.;
  • lemon – ½ piece;
  • granulated sugar – 200 g;
  • water – 2 l.

Place the citrus mass in a saucepan, add a glass of sugar and put on fire for 10-15 minutes. Leave for half an hour and strain through a sieve. Roll into sterilized jars.

How to make orange and lemon compote with honey
