According to the description of the breeders, this mid-season variety Bull's Heart Golden (100-117 days) is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in film greenhouses or greenhouses.
The plant is indeterminate, grows up to 1.5 m in height. 3-4 fruits are formed on the cluster. Tomatoes grow large, have a cone shape (seen in the photo) and a golden yellow color. The fruit weighs 400-600 grams and has a smooth skin. According to reviews from summer residents, the fruits have a pleasant taste and fleshy pulp.

- The growth characteristics of the plant make it possible to increase the number of fruit clusters, which leads to increased yield. With proper care, it is possible to collect about 13 kg from an area of one square meter.
Features of cultivation
For a high-quality harvest, it is important to properly care for tomatoes at all stages of growth - from planting seeds to harvesting.
Preparing seedlings
When planting Ox's heart of gold tomato seeds, follow the same procedures as with ordinary tomatoes. X
Tomato seedlings are laid out in rows on specially prepared and moistened soil. Then they are covered with a thin layer of soil - about half a centimeter. To maintain soil moisture, the box is covered with a polyethylene film.
Until the tomato seeds germinate, the air temperature on the soil surface should be maintained at approximately the same parameter - 21-23 ˚C. As soon as the seeds germinate, you can remove the protective film. The appearance of the first leaf should be expected on the fifth or sixth day. Then the seedlings are immediately picked - planted in separate cups (seen in the photo).
After about 25 days, you can lower the temperature by one or two degrees. It is this mode of slowly lowering the temperature that will contribute to the correct development of the initial three trusses on the tomato.
To strengthen the seedlings, lower the temperature again.This is done two weeks before planting the seedlings in open ground. The daytime temperature should be approximately 18-19 ˚С, and at night it is recommended to reduce the temperature to 17 ˚С. If the temperature is gradually and slightly reduced, it will be possible to prevent the low setting of the first flower cluster.
If such recommendations are not followed, then the future tomato yield may be reduced. Excessive lighting can also affect the placement of the first brush (too low).
Planting tomato seedlings in open ground
When transporting seedlings, it is desirable to minimize all negative factors (drafts, sudden temperature changes). To prevent their influence, it is better to cover the box with seedlings with polyethylene. It is not recommended to water tomato seedlings before transportation. It is also necessary to exclude the transportation of tomato seedlings in a lying position.
A seedling with a lump of earth is lowered into the prepared holes. The seedlings are dug in and carefully watered.
It is recommended to adhere to the following scheme for planting tomatoes in open ground: the distance between the bushes is 51-53 cm, and the row spacing should be 65-70 cm wide. If the tomatoes are placed in a checkerboard pattern, then it will be easier to use a trellis.

Feeding and watering
To get a bountiful and high-quality harvest, you need to provide your tomatoes with proper care. During the entire period of tomato growth, three feedings must be carried out:
- the first – in 10-15 days. This is necessary for better adaptation of the plant to the soil and for the plant to build a powerful root system. Use organic fertilizer solutions;
- The second feeding of tomatoes is carried out during flowering. This is necessary for the formation of more ovaries. It is necessary to give preference to mineral compositions containing potassium and phosphorus elements;
- the third feeding is carried out after fruit set - to improve their taste and increase productivity. To speed up the ripening of tomatoes, you can add nitrophoska or superphosphate to the soil.
It also doesn’t hurt to regularly fertilize the soil with an organic solution - approximately every two weeks.
Watering tomatoes alternates with loosening the soil every three days. The volume of water is adjusted depending on the growth of the seedlings:
- At first, moderate watering is sufficient for each seedling. Literally use spoons until the plant is well established;
- As soon as the tomato seedlings harden and the need for shading disappears, you can pour about two liters of water under each tomato.It is better to water in the morning, before the heat of the day. If the soil dries out during the day, you can water the plant additionally in the evening.
According to reviews from summer residents and taking into account the developmental characteristics and ripening period of tomatoes, this variety in the southern regions can be grown in open ground or in a greenhouse. In the middle zone, this bull's heart tomato variety can only be considered for greenhouses. In the northern regions, where summer is very short, these tomatoes should not be grown at all due to the late period of fruit ripening.
