Tomato Dimensionless: reviews + photos

Growing tomatoes is a hobby for some gardeners; for others, it is an opportunity to make money. But regardless of the goal, vegetable growers strive to obtain rich harvests. Many people are interested in varieties of large-fruited tomatoes, but today the market cannot boast of a large assortment.

We would like to introduce the Dimensionless tomato. This is a large-fruited variety, which not many gardeners know about yet. The specialized company “Siberian Garden” sells Dimensionless tomato seeds; customer reviews are positive. The characteristics of the variety, its characteristics and cultivation will be discussed in the article.

Description

The Bezzmerny tomato variety was created by Russian breeders not so long ago, in 2013, but has not yet been included in the State Register. Gardeners who are lucky enough to grow these tomatoes have already fallen in love with them and respond mostly positively.

Dimensionless is a determinate variety with an average ripening period. Recommended for personal plots and farms.

Important! The Bezrazmerny variety bears fruit well both in open and protected ground.

Bush

Tomatoes of this variety are tall up to 1.2-1.5 m, the bushes are powerful. The growth of shoots is limited after the Dimensionless tomato is “loaded” with fruits. The bushes of the Bezdimenny variety are distinguished by their grace; they have many emerald leaves.

The tomato forms the first flower cluster with large yellow flowers above the 8th or 9th leaf. Place the next peduncles every two leaves.

Fruit

The fruits are large, the weight of the first is within a kilogram. On the next peduncles, the tomatoes turn out a little smaller.

The shape of the fruit is elongated, similar to a liter jar. This is exactly how the Dimensionless tomato variety is presented in the description and characteristics. But in reviews and photos of gardeners, round tomatoes are often seen. The length of the cylindrical fruits is about 15 cm.

The fruits are juicy, fleshy, and the skin is quite dense. If you cut a ripe tomato of the Bezrazmerny variety, then it will be sugary when cut. The pulp is medium dense, the fruits have 4-6 chambers, and there are few seeds.

With good agricultural technology, you can harvest about 6 kg of tomatoes from one bush. The high yield of the Dimensionless tomato can be judged by the reviews and photos sent by gardeners.

At technical ripeness, the fruits of the variety are deep red in color.

Gardeners in reviews also note the taste of ripe tomatoes. They are sweetish with a classic tomato flavor.

Characteristics of the variety

To understand what Dimensionless tomatoes are, one description and photo is not enough. Let's find out the characteristic features of the variety, its advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages

  1. Medium ripening time, does not crack.
  2. Resistance of tomatoes to many diseases characteristic of nightshade crops.
  3. Possibility of growing in beds and under cover.
  4. The high yield of the Bezrazmerny variety allows you to grow tomatoes in large quantities for sale.
  5. A determinate variety of large-fruited tomatoes does not require pinching. Although it can be grown in three stems. If tomatoes are grown without shelter, then the stepsons will have to be removed before the first inflorescence.
  6. Transportability is satisfactory. If you need to transport tomatoes of the Bezzmerny variety over a long distance, then they are harvested at blanzhe ripeness. Picked tomatoes ripen well indoors.
  7. Growing by seedlings or sowing seeds in a permanent place in a garden bed or in a greenhouse. Of course, you will have to harvest a little later, although in this case you can have fresh tomatoes for a long time.
  8. Universal purpose: canning, preparing salads for the winter, tomato paste, juice, ketchup.
  9. Since Dimensionless is precisely a variety, you can collect your own seeds. The characteristics of tomatoes grown from their own seeds correspond to the description.
Advice! To can tomatoes, you need to take containers with a wide neck, or use a saucepan.

Flaws

We talked about the advantages of tomatoes, but it would be dishonest to our readers not to mention the disadvantages of the variety, which gardeners often point out in reviews:

  1. Short shelf life, only three weeks in the refrigerator or other cool place.
  2. Fruiting is extended, the last fruits ripen when the first ones have long been eaten.
  3. The fruits on the upper clusters begin to fill up after harvesting the tomatoes from the lower clusters.
  4. If you are late with tying, the bushes fall to the ground.

Agrotechnical standards

Tomato Dimensionless according to the characteristics and description of the variety can be grown as seedlings or immediately sow the seeds in the ground. Let's consider the seedling method.

Growing seedlings

Before planting in a permanent place, seedlings should be about 60 days old. It is not difficult to calculate planting dates, because each gardener is guided by the climatic characteristics of the region. Usually this work is done at the end of March or beginning of April.

Dimensionless tomato seeds, as gardeners write about this in reviews, are treated in a solution of potassium permanganate or boric acid before sowing. Then lay it out on a napkin to dry.

Advice! You can compose the soil mixture yourself, but it is better to use a ready-made mixture, since it already contains the necessary microelements.

After sowing the seeds of a large-fruited variety in boxes, cover them with film (do not forget to remove them at the first sprouts) and place them in a warm place. Watering is carried out as needed. When 2-3 leaves appear on the tomatoes (cotyledons do not count), the seedlings are planted in a container with a volume of at least 500 ml. Plants will feel comfortable in such a container.

Seedlings need to be watered abundantly, but not often, so that the water does not stagnate. You can feed it with wood ash.

Planting

Seedlings at the age of 50-60 days are stocky, as a rule, with the first flower stalks and even ovaries. In order not to lose the first fruits (they are the largest on the bush), tomatoes require hardening. They are taken out into the air for 10-12 days so that the plants have time to get used to the air temperature. This is especially important if tomatoes are grown outside.

The beds are prepared in the fall; humus, compost or mineral fertilizers are added to it. Before planting, dig holes and fill them with boiling dark pink water (with potassium permanganate). When the soil has cooled, plant tomatoes.

Attention! No more than three bushes are planted per square meter.

Immediately after planting, it is necessary to place 2 supports for each bush. They are tied in several places so that in the future there will be no problems with the plant falling due to the weight of the fruit. The lower leaves and stepsons need to be torn off, all the rest are left. How to do this can be seen in the photo.

Important! If determinate Dimensionless tomatoes are planted in a greenhouse, then 2-3 stems are left on the plant.

Further plant care is simple:

  • timely watering and fertilizing of plants;
  • weeding and loosening the soil;
  • tying the stem and brushes;
  • cutting off excess leaves to ensure adequate light and air circulation;
  • control of diseases and pests.

As you can see, growing Dimensionless is not that difficult. Even beginners can handle the job. The main thing is to follow agricultural technology and have the desire to work on the land.

Reviews

Tomatoes of the Bezrazmerny variety have been growing on the plot in open ground for 5 years. It must be said that the variety is excellent and productive. Of course, I didn’t get tomatoes as big as the originators said, but the fruits are sweet and tasty. As for the Dimensionless, I use it to produce delicious juice with a real tomato flavor. I use other varieties for canning. I'm not going to give up the variety.

I planted new tomatoes this summer. I liked the Bezrazmerny variety for its taste and large fruits. They corresponded in shape to the description on the package, but in size, they did not. The largest tomato on the bottom branch weighed 800 grams, the rest were between 400-450 grams. Although this did not greatly affect the yield, because each tassel has 5-6 fruits. The skin is a little thick, but maybe that’s why the tomatoes didn’t crack either on the bush or during transportation. Planted it in a greenhouse. Next year I will try to move some of the plants into open ground so that I can compare.

I am an avid gardener, and I’m not going to part with my dacha just yet.Every year I experiment with new varieties of tomatoes. For two years in a row I have been growing several bushes of Dimensionless tomatoes in the ground and in a greenhouse. Let me tell you, the variety is not only large-fruited, but also prolific. My neighbors are surprised by my tomatoes. But the shape is a little different from what the manufacturers stated, more round than cylindrical. The tomatoes are a little sour, but they are quite suitable for fresh salads, tomato paste and juice.
