Description

“Azhur” tomatoes are classified as early ripening varieties. The period for complete ripening of fruits ranges from 105 to 110 days. The bush is quite compact, determinate, densely covered with carved foliage. The height of the plant is 75-80 cm. The variety perfectly displays all its positive qualities both in a greenhouse and in open ground. The “Azhur F1” tomato is a hybrid, so you are guaranteed a rich harvest even under the most unfavorable climatic conditions.

The fruits of the representatives of the Azhur F1 variety are quite large and have a rounded shape, which is clearly visible in the first photo. In the phase of biological maturity, the color of the tomato is bright red. The weight of one vegetable is 250-400 grams. The yield is high - up to 8 kg of tomatoes per bush. A large number of inflorescences grow on one branch, which, with proper care, subsequently develop into a large number of ripe and fragrant fruits.

Advice! To make the tomatoes larger, it is necessary to leave not all the inflorescences on the bush, but only 2-3 well-formed clusters.

With this method of cultivation, the plant will not waste its vitality on weak inflorescences, and the remaining fruits will receive much more nutrients.

Advantages and disadvantages

As you may have already noticed from the description of the variety, “Azhur” has a number of characteristics that distinguish it from other varieties of tomatoes. The positive qualities of the hybrid include:

  • high productivity under any climatic conditions;
  • excellent taste of fruits and their density;
  • good resistance to elevated temperatures and heat;
  • excellent immunity against most diseases;
  • widespread use of fruits in cooking.

The only disadvantages that should be noted are the plant’s urgent need for abundant and regular watering, as well as frequent feeding with mineral and complex fertilizers.

  • compliance with the watering regime and the presence of good lighting in the tomato growing area;
  • avoiding proximity to potatoes;
  • timely removal weed and pinching the bush if necessary;

Tomato is a favorite vegetable crop on my site. I have been growing tomatoes for quite a long time and always of different varieties. I started planting hybrids only three years ago. Initially, I was wary of varieties obtained through crossing, but after a successful growing experience, I radically changed my attitude. Hybrids do not differ at all in appearance, as well as in taste, from the classic varieties that have long been familiar to us all, and I noted many more advantages. Thus, hybrid varieties are less susceptible to diseases and do not require the creation of greenhouse conditions. This is a big plus for the variety, especially if it is not possible to grow tomatoes in a greenhouse or there are space restrictions. The variety "Azhur" became a real discovery for me. With it, I can be sure that I will harvest a good harvest of tomatoes from the garden even in rainy summers or abnormal heat. In general, only positive emotions. I recommend!

I would like to share my personal experience of growing the hybrid tomato variety “Azhur”. The seedlings were planted in open ground.The seedlings pleased with their friendly growth and soon the first inflorescences appeared on them, which smoothly grew into fruit clusters. There were a lot of fruits on one bush; we even had to remove some of the inflorescences to provide comfortable conditions for the fruits that had set. I harvested early. There was plenty of tomato. I used small tomatoes for winter preparations, and large vegetables were used for salads and sauce. I was very pleased with the result. The reward for the gardener’s hard work was a truly rich harvest.

I always grow a lot of different vegetables in my garden. Tomatoes annually take pride of place in the greenhouse. This year, the greenhouse had to be dismantled due to dilapidation, and a new one could not be installed, so the tomatoes had to be selected based on the condition that they would be planted in open ground. The gaze settled on the variety “Azhur F1”. At first I was a little confused, since I had never grown hybrids before, but my neighbor insisted on choosing these particular seeds. The seedlings pleased me with their friendly germination. By mid-May, the seedlings were already fully prepared for planting in the ground. I can’t say that I tinkered too much with the tomatoes; on the contrary, they did not require any special care. Soon the first fruits began to appear. In June the weather worsened a little and I began to seriously worry about my tomato harvest. As it turned out, it was completely in vain. The tomatoes perfectly withstood all the vagaries of nature and soon pleased us with a rich harvest. Next year I will plant this variety again, I really liked it in cultivation and in its taste.
