Care
Regardless of whether you grow round eggplants or others, caring for the plant must be very careful. Only if all conditions are met will it be possible to obtain a high yield.
Eggplant is a rather capricious plant. It loves:
- light;
- fertile loose soils;
- watering with warm water;
- heat and air humidity.
In our climate, sometimes this can only be achieved in greenhouse conditions. Eggplant is very responsive to the application of mineral fertilizers; you should not skimp on this. The round shape is very convenient for cooking and looks impressive in the beds. Every year new interesting eggplant hybrids appear, which are also worth paying attention to.
