Characteristics of the variety
Lakomka belongs to the mid-early varieties of the Nantes variety type. The first harvest of these carrots can be harvested approximately 100 days from the appearance of the first shoots. Gourmet plants have a semi-spreading rosette of green leaves. They have medium length and cut. Carrots and their cores are a deep orange color. It is quite strong and large, and its cylindrical shape becomes slightly pointed at the tip. The length of a mature root crop will not exceed 25 cm, and the average weight will be no more than 200 grams.

Before planting Gourmet, it is recommended to fertilize the soil in advance. The optimal time to apply fertilizer is autumn.
At the same time, it is strictly forbidden to fertilize the carrot bed with manure. If manure is nevertheless brought into the garden bed, then it is better to give this place to other crops, for example: cucumbers, cabbage or onions. Carrots should be grown in this bed after these crops.
The Gourmand carrot variety is planted in the garden at the end of April, when spring frosts have passed. Disembarkation order:
- In the garden bed, it is necessary to make grooves up to 3 cm deep. In this case, there should be about 20 cm between adjacent grooves.
