- The juice is squeezed out of the pulp. Add sugar to the resulting liquid and stir until completely dissolved.
- Yeast is bred in warm water. The resulting mixture is combined with melon juice and stirred. Ammonia is dripped in and left to ferment for 10 days.
- At the end of fermentation, the mash is kept for another 10 hours, it is removed from the sediment, distilled and filtered. Secondary distillation is then performed. The “head” and “tail” of the liquid are separated. Before drinking, the drink is kept for another three days.
Sweet melon moonshine
Ingredients:
- 250 g cane sugar;
- melon;
- 0.5 liters of moonshine;
- 0.5 liters of filtered water.
Preparation:
- Peel the melon and remove the seeds. The pulp is finely chopped.
- Pieces of fruit are placed in a suitable container and poured with moonshine so that it completely covers the pulp.
- Cover loosely and leave in a cool, dark room for a week.
- After the allotted time, the liquid is filtered and placed in the refrigerator. Pour 100 g of sugar into the pulp, stir and leave for three days so that the crystals dissolve completely.
- Strain the syrup, add the remaining sugar. The pulp is poured with water, mixed and the resulting mass is squeezed into syrup. The liquid is slightly heated so that the sugar dissolves completely. Cool and combine with moonshine from the refrigerator. The drink is kept for a month before drinking.

- 25 g dry yeast (150 g pressed);
- 1 kg 500 g fine sugar;

- The first third of the output is poured into a separate container. This liquid contains harmful substances, so drinking it is dangerous.
- When the yield strength drops below 45 degrees, the selection of the main product is completed. Ready melon moonshine is diluted with water up to 40%. Before use, keep for 3 days in a dark, cool room, pour into glass containers and seal hermetically.
Terms and conditions of storage
Melon moonshine, prepared according to all the rules, based on natural ingredients, with a strength of at least 50 degrees, can be stored for 5 or more years. The drink should be poured into glass containers with a tight-fitting lid. The temperature in the room for storing alcohol should not exceed 15 °C.
