Collection and preparation of medicinal raw materials

The highest concentration of active substances is in green spruce cones and tree bark. The fruits are harvested in late spring or early summer; the timing differs for different climate zones. The main thing is that the fir cone is no larger than 4 cm in size, bright green, and closed. They take medicinal raw materials from a healthy tree growing far from roads or industrial enterprises.

In ripened fruits, the concentration of nutrients is much lower. Brown cones collected at the end of summer are suitable for tincture if they have seeds and are not open. To enhance the effect, tree bark is added to the product. Last year's fallen and opened fir cones have no therapeutic value. After harvesting, store the raw materials in a dry place.

Before use, wash, lay on a cloth towel to evaporate moisture and cut into 2-4 pieces.

Use good quality vodka as a base; you shouldn’t skimp and buy cheap products. Use medical alcohol. It can be diluted with boiled cold water up to 45% or left at its original strength. You can use moonshine, purified by double distillation with separation of the first fraction, which contains toxic methyl alcohol in high concentrations. Homemade distillate for medicine should be no weaker than 400.

I noticed that, against the background of acne, my teenage son began to develop complexes. Previous use of cosmetic and pharmacological agents had no effect. I was advised to take a vodka tincture of fir cones; I read the reviews and they were mostly positive. The results from using it for a month were obvious. I recommend it to anyone who has this problem.
