  • nosematosis – a parasitic disease caused by Nosema;
  • foulbrood – a bacterial infection that leads to the extinction of entire hives and quickly spreads to uninfected hives;
  • aspergillosis – fungal infection.

Composition, release form

"Apimax" for bees is an exclusively herbal preparation. All components are obtained naturally. The composition includes the following medicinal plants:

  • garlic;
  • horsetail;
  • coniferous trees;
  • echinacea;
  • sagebrush;
  • pepper;
  • eucalyptus.

The balm is available in 100 ml bottles. It is a black liquid with a bright pine aroma.

Pharmacological properties

It is not only a medicinal, but also a prophylactic agent. The balm increases the immunity of insects, promotes active egg production of the uterus and the production of milk.

  1. Breastfeeding. In this case, the medicine is mixed with sugar syrup. For 1 bottle of the drug take 10 ml of the excipient. The mixture is added to feeders or empty honeycombs.
  2. Spraying. To do this, mix 1 bottle of balm and 2 liters of hot water. The cooled mixture is sprayed onto the frame using a dispenser.

Dosage, rules of use

The Apimax instructions for bees indicate that 30 to 35 ml of balm should be taken per frame if the feeding method has been chosen. When spraying, 20 ml of solution is sufficient.

The time of treatment with Apimax balm for bees depends on the purpose of its use. If it is necessary to treat insects from nosematosis, to prevent infection by bacteria or fungi, the procedure is carried out in early spring, before the end of wintering.

In autumn, the balm helps increase immunity before wintering and effectively prevents infectious diseases. Varroatosis is treated 1-2 months before the formation of a winter club.

For nosematosis, treatment is carried out 2 times a day. Repeat the procedure after 3 days.To protect bees from infections, spraying is repeated every 4 days until symptoms disappear completely.

The undoubted advantage of the drug "Apimax" for bees is its versatility with the complete absence of side effects. The quality of honey after processing will also not be affected. The use of “Apimax” during the hibernation of bees is considered irrational.

Shelf life and storage conditions

The shelf life of the medicine is 3 years. In order for it to last so long and not lose its healing properties, it is necessary to store the balm correctly:

  • in a dark place, out of direct sunlight;
  • in a dry place;
  • at temperatures from 5°C to 25°C;
