Planting in open ground and caring for flowers

The place to plant our flower mixture should be sunny or slightly shaded. When warm weather sets in, the threat of frost has passed; for different regions the timing may differ quite significantly, dig up the bed, remove the roots of all weed. If necessary, add compost and sand and start sowing.

Try to sow the seeds of the “Flower Carnival” mixture as rarely as possible - then you will not have to replant the plants in the fall, because they will bloom in one place for more than one year. Embed flower seeds in the soil or simply sprinkle them with soil and water well. In 15-30 days, shoots will appear, and after another month flowering will begin.

Advice! If the seedlings are too dense, you can carefully transplant the excess plants to another place, just try to plant those flowers that have sprouted in greater numbers.

If you sow flowers not in a permanent place, but in a nursery, after the flowers grow up and you can determine their identity, transplant them to a permanent place in accordance with the design requirements.

At first, caring for perennials will consist of weeding and loosening the soil; when the bushes grow, this will no longer be necessary. In dry weather, water the flower garden regularly and fertilize until mid-August.

A few recommendations for the device mixborder

If you have a large area, an extensive array of tall perennial flowers along the fences, in the background of the lawn or lower perennials would be appropriate. In small dachas, it is better to sow tall perennials in several places so that small focal groups of flowers are formed - it will look beautiful and stylish.

High perennial flowers, included in the “Flower Carnival” mixture, can cover up unsightly places on our plots - for example, a compost heap or a neglected plot of a careless neighbor.

Remember that the most important thing for plants is your love, for which they will thank you with lush flowering until late autumn.
