Composition and release form

Movento Energy is produced in the form of a suspension concentrate, which contains two active ingredients:

  • imidacloprid (120 g/l);
  • spirotetramate (120 g/l).

According to the chemical class, the insecticide belongs to neonicotinoids. Substances enter the pest’s body in the following ways:

  1. Contact (direct contact with the body).
  2. Intestinal (together with the juices of the plant being eaten).
  3. Systemic (substances penetrate into the vessels of the plant, from where they also enter the pest’s body).

The drug is packaged in plastic bottles of different volumes: 2 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml

Principle of operation

The basis of Movento Energy insecticide is imidacloprid and spirotetramate. These are organic substances that contain a pyridine ring containing a chlorine atom. Penetrating into the insect’s body, it suppresses the activity of the vital enzyme acetylcholinesterase. As a result, sodium metabolism is disrupted and the transmission of nerve impulses is blocked.

Already in the first hours after treatment, pests die due to nervous overexcitation. The period of protective action is up to 30 days. In this case, it is enough to carry out no more than two treatments per season. Waiting times are 3, 7 or 20 days (depending on the culture). This means that harvesting can begin, for example, seven days after the last treatment.

Advantages and disadvantages

Movento Energy insecticide is a dual-action drug because it contains siprotetramate and imidacloprid. Therefore, Movento Energy has a number of advantages.

Movento Energy is a completely normal drug and inexpensive. I struggled with pear worms for a long time and tried five other remedies. But it was Energy that helped the most. The neighbors also started using it and are very happy. So I definitely recommend it.
