For full development of the plant, long daylight hours are required. Therefore, early sowing is recommended, when the snow melts and the soil warms up to +5 °C to a depth of 10 cm. The seedlings easily withstand frosts down to -6 °C. The optimal temperature during growth and flowering is +15-17 °C. Its increase to +26-35 °C leads to a slowdown in development and an increase in the likelihood of fungal diseases.
