When planting a powerful plant of this variety, you definitely need to think about the planting location. Perhaps it will be some kind of original support, or royal beans will decorate the fence. The soil at the planting site should be light. Clay soils, as well as soils with stagnant water, are not suitable for king beans.

Before planting in the ground, the beans need to be soaked until they hatch.

Royal beans are planted in moist soil to a depth of 5 cm, with a distance between holes of at least 15 cm.

Young plants of this variety must be protected from possible frosts, providing them with reliable shelter.

Harvest and storage

The ripening of grain varieties is determined by the dry and yellow pod, which is easy to open.

Advice! However, for preservation it is better to take slightly unripe royal beans that have just begun to turn yellow.

It will be more tender and will better retain its beneficial properties. The pods ripen gradually, so they are collected when they are ready, and not at once.

After harvesting, the royal beans are slightly dried, cleaned, and then stored.

Important! If beans with wormholes are noticed during harvesting, care should be taken to preserve the crop.

Otherwise, pests will destroy most of the reserves over the winter. To prevent this problem, there are two options: either warm the beans in the oven before storing them, or store them in a hermetically sealed container without air access. Insects that hatch from the affected beans will die from lack of oxygen.
