Chanterelle tincture: recipes, use and contraindications

Name:Chanterelles
Type: Edible

Until recently, official medicine did not recognize the medicinal properties of mushrooms. Today, their actions are studied, researched and actively used in the treatment of diseases. Chinese biochemists were the first to discover chemical substances in representatives of the Chanterelle family that can destroy helminths. Chanterelle tincture has gained wide popularity due to its effect on the body, availability and ease of preparation.

The healing properties of chanterelle tincture

The benefits of mushroom tinctures are determined by their chemical composition. Scientists have come to the conclusion that chanterelles can have a detrimental effect on helminths. The reason for this is not the poison at all, but the polysaccharide quinomannose, which destroys both helminth eggs and adults without harming humans.

Attention! When heat treated, exposed to salt, or frozen, the substance is destroyed, so the use of salted, fried or frozen mushrooms for medicinal purposes will be useless for anthelmintic therapy.

Chanterelles contain beta-glucans, which can activate the functioning of immune cells.

Ergosterol is also found in these mushrooms. The uniqueness of this component is that, based on interaction with enzymes, it is able to restore liver function. Trametonolinic acid, as well as K-10 polysaccharide, also have healing potential in this regard.

Currently, powders and extracts are produced from representatives of Chanterelles. The most widely used treatment is chanterelle tincture, which gives a positive result in the process of destroying parasites and improving the health of the entire body.

Precautionary measures

When procuring raw materials, you must carefully consider their choice. Mushrooms should be collected only in ecologically clean areas, away from highways and industrial zones.

Inexperienced mushroom pickers will need special reference books or expert advice on identifying real chanterelles to avoid collecting duplicates:

  • false chanterelle – a conditionally edible mushroom that cannot boast of similar beneficial properties: it must be soaked before use;
  • yellow barnacle – edible, very similar in taste and appearance to chanterelles, but this species does not have antiparasitic properties;
  • Omphalote olive - a poisonous double, whose plates are located very often, and an excess of phosphorus gives the effect of representatives of this species glowing in the dark.
Important! Real chanterelles have pale orange caps and are never wormy.

If the medicinal product is prepared independently, strict adherence to the technology of its production is necessary. Before using the tincture for any purpose, you should consult your doctor.

Important! In the absence of intolerance, the tincture does not harm the human body. Its effect is gentle, but to minimize the occurrence of side effects when used, the dosage, frequency and duration of the course of treatment must be observed.

Contraindications to the use of chanterelle tincture with vodka

Despite the beneficial medicinal properties, the use of chanterelle tincture with vodka has contraindications in a number of cases. The product is prohibited to be used:

  • children under 12 years of age (due to the alcohol component);
  • if you are allergic to alcohol;
  • pancreatitis;
  • diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • disorders of the kidneys;
  • chronic liver pathologies.

Raw materials for the production of tinctures cannot be stored for long periods of time. Raw chanterelles can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than a day. After this, you must use it to prepare the product according to the recipe.

Dried mushrooms, ground into powder, should be placed in paper or fabric bags. The shelf life of dry raw materials in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight is about a year.

The finished tincture is kept in glass containers in a cool, dark place out of reach of children. Before storing it, it is important to attach a label to the bottle indicating the contents, composition, method of use and date of manufacture.
